This 15th-century moated manor house is of considerable interest, not least because it's one of the few moated structures remaining in the region, and is in superb condition. The Bedingfeld family have lived in the hall for the past 500 year and have added a lot to the interesting history of the building. Inside the architecture and decoration are remarkably preserved and the spiral staircase is an interesting feature.
The grounds are a mixture of countryside and woodland with some good walks as well as a small chapel.
