North Coast
Access to the north coast by train has always been challenging, which means that most of the region is still fairly quaint. Access by road is good, but don't expect large roads.
The North coast is a region of small villages and derelict windmills and is famous for coastal walks, wildlife and sandy beaches.
Cromer is the largest coastal town and has a well developed but unobtrusive tourist industry, and has a good selection of sites and museums.
